13 X Thoughts That Went Through When My Iphone Broke

I’ve known for quite some time that I’m a klutz. Something with self-knowledge… I am also aware that my iPhone sometimes has a hard time as a result. Hence the sturdy case and the glass screen protector. These saved me about 1938 times… Until my iPhone wanted to teach me a lesson a few weeks ago and I had to get it repaired… Oops! These thoughts then went through my mind…

*Steps out of the shower, sees that hubby is texting, and wants to pick up the iPhone from the bathroom cabinet to text back… BAD!* iPhone is broken!
• ‘Oh the image still works! A few crazy stripes, but I can live with that.’ (Meanwhile, the screen gets blacker and… dies. Oops!
• ‘OMG! Are you kidding me? No no no nooooooooo… This isn’t true, is it?’
• ‘Mmm, the home button still works. So everything still works, but the image is black. So I can’t do anything with this anymore. Panic!’
• ‘Oh, wait… First I’d like to send back an app via iMessage on the iPad so that he knows that I can no longer be reached via Whatsapp. Long live my iPad.’
• ‘Do I really have to call my provider’s replacement device service and put it off with a Samsung S4 mini for two weeks? no way !’
